When we put a GPS on a car we set up text alerts that will notify you when the vehicle is either moving or has stopped and sends you a link to a map that shows you where that alert was created.

Our GPS systems are hidden in places that aren't view-able from the underside of the car  and are placed so that even a thorough search of the car will have them coming up empty. We also use much smaller units than most Private Investigators and use GPS systems that aren't hardwired to the car to make discovery even more difficult.
